The Wanderer: A Literary Journal

2to follow a winding course MEANDER
3. ato go astray (as from a course) STRAY

To wander is to ramble on, to roam, to stray, indirectly and casually, without a purpose or objective. We meander, through life and through story, in the hopes of finding our own path. As travelers, each of us desire that journey – to find our own story.

Through literary exploration, The Wanderer seeks to guide us along these paths, offering navigation, inspiration, strength, and encouragement. The trails which we discover and make will usher us through a vast array of settings and cover a multitude of genres – from lands of dragons, galaxies unknown, city streets, to the depths of mind and consciousness.

In this literary journal, we aim to wander through traditional novels, poetry, graphic novels, short story, novellas and, as stories lend themselves to being transformative, works of art and film. All have their significance and may include either shouts of ecstasy and passion or haphazard stuttering interlaced with regret.

Feel free to become a wanderer alongside us! Bring with you a backpack, or a suitcase, or perhaps just a feeling of longing, or even, as many characters have done before us, bring nothing at all, and let the journey be your guide.

Review Policy

The Wanderers accept review requests in the Young Adult,  Sci-Fi, Romance, Fiction, Non-fiction and Fantasy genres. We accept review copies from large publishers, eBook publishers, and from requesting authors. We also are more than willing and happy to accept requests from independent publishers.

All books are accepted on a review consideration basis. This means that we do not guarantee a review for any book. We do not schedule review dates. As such, we do not participate in blog tours, nor do we promise specific review dates or time frames. While we do our best to review books in a timely manner, in some cases, there might be a delay. Also, please be aware we do not and cannot review every book we receive, and we can’t accept every review request.

Please email all requests to thewandererlitjournal@gmail.com.
